True Results, a leading bariatric weight loss solution provider, recently announced that on September 24, 2015, the first three ORBERA™ Intragastric Balloon procedures were successfully administered at the Turning Point Specialty Surgery Center in San Antonio, Texas. Performing the procedures were surgeons Dr. J. Keith Wright and Dr. Gerardo E. Carcamo, both affiliates of True Results.
One of the patients who received ORBERA, a woman named Kim, is a full-time working mom who had been struggling with weight loss. “I’m excited to be the very first patient in San Antonio to get the ORBERA™ balloon,” she said. “I’ve been struggling with my weight for over 20 years. It’s important for me to lose the weight because there are many health issues that run in my family like diabetes and high blood pressure.
