According to NPR.org, the way we store our food at home may be related to how much we eat. If we have all our food on our sight, we tend to eat more than we actually should – and need.
Charles Emery, a psychologist at Ohio State University discovered in his last research project that the way that food is set up around the house could influence how much people eat and, ultimately, how heavy they might be. Emery says the home environment and how it may influence eating behaviors has largely been left unexamined. So his team decided to “look at every aspect of the home environment related to food,” he says.
